I have had CPR training for years and years working in the medical field, but this was by far the most hands on and enjoyable. I feel I have retained more information than I ever have before. I'm the type that can freeze up when there is an emergency but I feel like I will not after this class. David was charismatic and fun, to boot. I will be returning every two years to be recertified. The young man who greeted me was very professional, warm, and welcoming. He demonstrated this with each customer that entered the building or who called on the phone. He deserves 5 stars. Great customer service is hard to come by these days.I was there for a Live Scan and didn't receive the same quality service. T. Smith, the staff person, performed the fingerprint scan. I was uncomfortable when she wrote my private data on the back of a piece of paper. Upon completion of the service, I requested my personal information be shredded. Seemingly agitated by the request, Smith stated she has access to many customers' information and is not going to do anything with mine. As that offered no comfort, I again asked for the paper to be shredded. She further stated she has something to do with the contents on the opposite side of the document and would get to it.By this time, I'm experiencing an overwhelming feeling of anxiety and disdain for the lack data security practiced for their customers. In noticing a marker on the desk, I handed it to Smith requesting her to redact my information from the back of the document laying out in the open. She haphazardly scribbled over it leaving the info exposed.At this time, I exited the building to report this to the vendor to mitigate other customers from possible security breeches such as this.Know it is the right of individuals to have control over their data. It's unfortunate I had to fight for that right with First Coast CPR.

I did the fingerprint scan for my contractor license background check, it was super easy, the lady who did the scan was really nice, and the cost was way better than other places that I researched, I really like how they sent you reminders and kept you informed with emails or texts if any changes have been made to their schedule. This place is a must for any kind of Live Scan fingerprinting or medical training classes! I will definitely be recommending to anybody who needs these services

It wasn't just a class to help you get the card but a hands on experience that taught me many things that I had not learned in previous years. I would definitely recommend this class. This is my 3rd BLS class I've taken in about 4.5 years and I have to say- I really enjoyed it (which I wasn't expecting). Carlos was my instructor and he was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. I really liked how he used upbeat songs to go along with the compressions so you could keep up with the rhythm...which helped keep me on track. This class was also pretty affordable too (compared to other establishments). I'll be back in 2 years for sure. 😁

I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to find childcare for my 2 month old and upon reaching out to First Coast Training Center, I was told that as long as she could stay quiet in her car seat or stroller for the 30 minute skills check, I could bring her with. Ultimately, I found someone to watch her for the brief time of the skills session but the flexibility and support I felt as a working mother was phenomenal and for that, First Coast Training Center will always have my business!!

Also at each desk is a little step stools so you can be higher than the dummy that's on the table so you can perform comfortably in a controlled environment. I only got two hours of sleep the night before , so I figured I was going to fall asleep listening to a 4 hour lecture. Marco did quiet the opposite. He kept everyone in the class focused, entertained and busy. There was a lot of hands on, which was great! He made the class an absolute blast while providing everyone with the necessary information to be able to save a life if it comes down to it. Marco plays music while you perform compressions which really helps you to get the right rhythm. There’s snacks and coffee for break time! I felt I was able to retain the information better, because of the unique way he taught us and correlated the instructions with jokes and music.
