Who Needs a BLS Certification:

Anyone in or working to enter into the healthcare field. Anyone applying for or in a college healthcare program such as a Nursing, CNA, PT, PTA, Pharmacy, LPN, RN, EMT, etc…

We offer American Heart Association certified local BLS certification classes in North Florida and South Georgia including Jacksonville FL, Fernandina Beach FL, Saint Mary’s GA, and all surrounding areas.

CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification reinforces healthcare professionals’ understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, basic steps of performing CPR, relieving choking, and using an AED; and the role of each link in the Chain of Survival. This course is for healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform CPR, as well as other lifesaving skills, in a wide variety of in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. First Coast CPR offers certification in a classroom environment or American Heart Association CPR Online Certifications.

Very informative. Instructor is super nice & friendly. But there’s really no reason this class should be 4 hours. There’s entirely toooooo much personal sharing and veering off topic amongst the instructor and class. 1-1.5 hours could’ve been eliminated had we just focused on getting through the teaching so we could test.
