BLS/CPR & First AID
Who Needs First Aid & BLS/CPR:
Anyone working in or applying to a career in Physical Therapy. Although not common it might be a requirement for anyone working in Home Health Care, as a School Nurse, among others.
We provide American Heart Association certified local CPR BLS & First Aid combo classes in North Florida and South Georgia including Jacksonville FL, Fernandina Beach FL, Saint Mary’s GA, and all surrounding areas. Classes in two convenient locations in Jacksonville and Fernandina Beach.
BLS/CPR reinforces healthcare professionals’ understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, basic steps of performing CPR, relieving choking, and using an AED; and the role of each link in the Chain of Survival.
First Aid teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives. First Aid instruction includes bandaging, bleeding, wounds, choking, shock, seizure, fainting, broken bones, sprains, burns, bites, stings, poison, and temperature-related conditions, to name a few.
Heartsaver First Aid & BLS/CPR is offered in a full classroom setting, in a combined format (part Online, part Classroom), and full Online.

I learned a lot from this class and now I feel more confident in applying life-saving skills. Regina is very knowledgeable, engaging, and helpful. She made it easy to learn and apply basic life support. The process of finding a class at a time convenient for me was also easy. I took the First Aid & CPR class. The equipment was clean and upkeep. The instructor was very knowledgeable and the class was very educational. The instructor played different background noise of could be events. Car crash, people crying exc. I thought that was awesome it made me focus for as I was doing my chest compressions. If I had any questions she was quick to answer them and made sure I understood. I really learned a lot and I appreciate the knowledge that she passed on. I feel more prepared just in case the unexpected is to even happen when I'm around.

This place is incredible!! Tina H. was my instructor and I loved the way she led the class. It felt more like a converstion with the lesson incorporated into it. She did an amazing job and I’d definitely recommend anyone to come here and do CPR/BLS classes.

Jessica did my class. The whole environment was great and she did wonderful. I've taken many CPR classes through my life (ex-military) but have never been a medical professional, this was the first time I felt truly confident to administer CPR after a class!
