BLS/CPR & First AID
Who Needs First Aid & BLS/CPR:
Anyone working in or applying to a career in Physical Therapy. Although not common it might be a requirement for anyone working in Home Health Care, as a School Nurse, among others.
We provide American Heart Association certified local CPR BLS & First Aid combo classes in North Florida and South Georgia including Jacksonville FL, Fernandina Beach FL, Saint Mary’s GA, and all surrounding areas. Classes in two convenient locations in Jacksonville and Fernandina Beach.
BLS/CPR reinforces healthcare professionals’ understanding of the importance of early CPR and defibrillation, basic steps of performing CPR, relieving choking, and using an AED; and the role of each link in the Chain of Survival.
First Aid teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrives. First Aid instruction includes bandaging, bleeding, wounds, choking, shock, seizure, fainting, broken bones, sprains, burns, bites, stings, poison, and temperature-related conditions, to name a few.
Heartsaver First Aid & BLS/CPR is offered in a full classroom setting, in a combined format (part Online, part Classroom), and full Online.
